JS Prom 2013 Introduction JESS: Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen.

Tonight we are holding the Annual Junior and Senior Promenade. In this occasion we will recognize the young boys and girls turns into young ladies and gentlemen of the society as we welcome them to this hall. kath: In this event we will witness the Candle Rose Ceremony as a tribute to the Alma Mater OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL SUCCOR ACADEMY. The juniors and seniors will walk onto stage with grace and elegance as they present themselves to the community. JESS: The 2012 Miss Alma Mater JAN MARNIE BETTITA PAMFILO AZARES, the only child of Mr. Marlon Vargas Azares and Miss Maria Joan Beloy Pamfilo will signify the school and will deliver her message to her dearly beloved students. kath: There will be the lighting of the symbolic candle and the offering of the flowers to show respect and honor to the school patroness- OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL HELP. Turning over and acceptance of the key of responsibilities will also be made by the seniors and juniors. JESS: To be formally accepted in social gatherings like this, a unique yet well-known BALSE DE TORIJJOS will be performed by the Seniors and Juniors which will indicate that the ball is formally open. kath: The Seniors and Juniors stand as the eldest brothers and sisters of the children of our beloved Alma Mater - OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL SUCCOR ACADEMY. Being the eldest, they assume to take hold of the responsibility to be models to their younger sibling THE SOPHOMORES AND THE FRESHMEN. So their roles are to show in their daily performances in words and in deeds that they are truly accomplished, who can tackle obligations and duties better than the younger ones. Ladies and gentlemen the Seniors and Juniors of OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL SUCCOR ACADEMY. (THE ENTRANCE) JESS: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome the Senior class of 2013. Time flies unnoticed- the end of high school days is fast approaching. The seniors accepted the responsibilities handed down by the graduates. They had to face a new dimension of exasperating moments to advance into their new horizons and to meet the new challenges of their lives. The fourth year is the finale. At last it will come to culmination. But no! its climaxing into more difficult tasks to shoulder. There were numerous term papers, reports, research jobs and many others which are all worth a gallon of perspiration.

kath: The seniors stay within the portals of OUR MOTHER OF PERPETUAL SUCCOR ACADEMY is almost to an end. More or less, they have shown and done their roles. They have been charge to some duties such as guarding the school, helping in the implementation of the rules and regulations of the school. Nevertheless, we have seen the seniors smile, determined and with aspirations eager to witness the result of their hard works. Yes! That very memorable day will soon come, edging closer and closer. It was four years as if it came like a blast JESS: Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome the Junior class of 2013. The sophomores became juniors. Though quite excited, different challenges awaits their junior life. The seniors used to tell that it was their hardest moment in high school. Nevertheless, what they found out was varied from those of the seniors. The junior life seemed to be the most fruitful as if the world is painted with bright colors. Everything seemed to be in process of metamorphosis. Personal changes had occurred. They had grown up into beautiful ladies and fine gentlemen This much awaited Junior and Senior Promenade came. The juniors are so excited that they wish to lull the days ahead. They are so inspired that they are accomplishing their works well. kath: This affair is for the Juniors, this day in which they become aware of the responsibilities to be handed to them by the seniors. The juniors who are next years seniors shall take the responsibilities of the outgoing seniors. With the continuous guidance of their parents, mentors, school administration and the perpetual help of the school patroness guiding them all day and night in their undertakings, may they be able to carry out the responsibilities to be charged upon them. (THE TURN OVER AND CANDLE ROSE CEREMONY) JESS: To formally open tonights affair may we call on Mr. Christian Paul Fabavier for the opening prayer. This will be followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Let us all Rise. Kath: You may now have your seats

JESS: Miss JAN MARNIE BETTITA PAMFILO AZARES signifies the school, the structural symbol of faith, sacrifices and truth. Her modesty, simplicity and talents bring her to the isle of the youths with a book and lighted candle. The book symbolizes the knowledge that the school leaves to mankind, to be delivered down from generation to generation. The candle serves as the light that opens their hungry mind to find truth, justice and knowledge which is one of the

objectives of catholic schools. As the Alma mater walks on the aisle on her way to the pedestal, the seniors and juniors will clap their hands showing their respect to their beloved institution. KATH: Let us now hear the message of the 2013 Miss Alma Mater, JAN MARNIE BETTITA PAMFILO AZARES At this point, the seniors will light the symbolic candle as they sing One Little Candle which signifies truth, justice and knowledge headed by the seniors representatives- Miss Trisha Mae Requintel and John Joel Almonte JESS: In behalf of the senior class Miss Trisha Mae Requintel will now have her turn-over speech as she lays the key of responsibility to the juniors. The key of responsibility will be accepted by Miss Bernadine C. Par with her acceptance speech. This will be followed by the singing of Auld Lang Syne as the Juniors put on the garlands to the seniors in exchange to the candle which indicates friendship and camaraderie At this moment let us hear our Dear Director Rev. Fr. Christian Francis T. Regencia as he delivers his Inspiring message to us, let us welcome him with a big hand. Kath: Thank you Rev. Fr. for those inspiring words. Let us now observe the Juniors and Seniors as they offer Candles and Garland to our Patroness. We are now on the third part of tonights affair the Junior and Senior Ball. To formally open the ball let us welcome the Seniors and Juniors to perform our very own Balse De Torijjos choreographed by Mr. Jess R. Briones. JESS: At this moment we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the persons who shared their time efforts and usual supports to make this affair a success. Rev. Fr. Christian Francis T. Regencia ,Mrs. Enriqueta R. Fabul , OMPSA Faculty and Staff, Mayor Gil R. Briones , Engineering Department of Torijjos , Torrijos PNP, Barangay Security Force Poblacion , The Parents of Juniors and Seniors. Thank you very much to all of you. May The Lord reward you abundantly. Everybody is invited to dance and enjoy the Night kath: After crowding the dance floor with your amazing moves, you may now be serve to quench you thirst as I call on Miss Jenny Gray to read the Class Prophecy of the Batch 2012. Let us welcome him with a round of applause. Thank you Miss Gray. And we will pray that all your dreams may come true. Before we formally end this affair let seek the guidance of our God as we go home tonight. May we call on Miss Ann Nicole Rondera to lead the closing prayer.
