Modernism is moving away from realistic into more abstract ideas and styles+ starting roughly around the ,-../s. 0ontemporary is any art that is done in the now+ or at this moment in time. 0ontemporary art has a wide range of styles+ techni1ues and mediums.2 (Before you start creating your own self-portrait % want to go through the PowerPoint with you and have a discussion.2 $escribe each portrait. *he artist and the techni1ue. $o these portraits show any expression or feeling# Model-Acti+ity "hen beginning this pro3ect the students need to create some brainstorming. 4ou know yourself more than any other person.
