he Postal Corporation of Kenya launched a new set of Commemorative stamps in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Kenyas independence on 10th December 201 ! "he ceremony was presided over by the Cabinet #ecretary$ %inistry of #ports$ Culture and the Arts$ Dr! &assan 'ario Arero$ as the Chief (uest$ represented by the Principal #ecretary %r! Patric) *mutia! Also present was the Principal #ecretary$ %inistry of +nformation$ Communication and "echnolo,y$ %r! -oseph %usuni *le "iampati$ the then Chairman$ PCK .oard of Directors$ %r! Cyrus %aina and a num/ ber of honorary philatelists drawn from across the country! #pea)in, at the event$ %r! Cyrus %aina stated that the Commemorative #tamps ob0ective is to showcase the strides the Country has made in various spheres$ socially$ economically$ and politically$ for the last 50 years 1123 /201 4! &e further noted that the Posta,e stamp is si,nificant as it is the tool that 0ustifies pre/ payment for Posta,e of %ail$ e5pressin, culture and history as well as an educational instrument for citi/ 6ens!

"he %ailmen met the Kenya ;evenue Authority 1K;A4$ winners of @one 1A4 (roup *ne 1+4 on #aturday$ December 21st 201 for a sin,le slot allocated for the "us)er Premier ?ea,ue 2019! "he e5plosive and e5cit/ in, derby$ that too) place at the >airobi City #tadium$ ended on a 2/2 draw$ which led to a sudden death post match penalty! "he "a5men 1K;A4 won 5/9 and hence Aualified for the "us)er Premier ?ea,ue 2019! Posta ;an,ers$ havin, topped Division one 114 >ationwide automatically Aualified for the newly created (*"< >ational #uper ?ea,ue 2019$ where a total of 22 elite teams drawn from across the country$ will compete for two 124 slots allocated to the "us)er Premier ?ea,ue 2015!
