ABSTRACT Gender stereotypes according to traditional views of the feminine and masculine construction divides into two opposing

areas and separate in absolute way. The separation is very tight, so it does not recognize the grey areas which means a women with masculine nature and a men with feminine qualities. If that happens then be considered as an anomaly or a scandal. An idea of feminine and masculine dichotomy does not appear in Cosmopolitan Men. Some rubrics from the magazine indicated containing feminine construction. The phenomenon was captured by researcher as a form of invasion into Cosmopolitan Men as masculine arenas. The Purpose of this research is to prove the existence of feminine invasion in Cosmopolitan Men and describes the frequency of feminine constructions occurence which contained in Cosmopolitan Men. Research used descriptive quantitative approach with content analysis method. Units of observation include some rubrics such as Grooming Opening, Grooming Q & A, Fashion Opening, Fashion Outfit Advice, From the Editor, Ask Cosmo Men Anything, Miss V, Connecting, Cosmo Men Cooking, in five editions, start from December 2006, June - November 2008, December 2008 until May 2009, August - November 2010, and Editions III/2011. Unit of analysis is a feminine construction likes preening, consumptive, emotional, compassion and home oriented. Preening has the highest frequency which decreased by 60% or 545 times frequency of occurrence. Consumptive by 33% or 302 amount frequency of occurrence. Emotional has the appearance frequency of 1% or a total of 14 times the frequency of occurrence. Home oriented has a frequency of occurrence of 1% or totaled 8 times frequency of occurrence. Based on the content analysis then it can be concluded that there is a feminine culture invasion into masculine arenas in this context of Cosmopolitan Men.
