Paper Mache Sculpture Objective- to create a paper mache sculpture based off of a drawing.

Directions -create several sketches that could be transformed into a 3D sculpture -self portrait of sorts -animal friends -its a good idea to draw from different view points -create your armature -armature is a framework around which the sculpture is built. -use wire, a wad of newspapers secured with tape, plastic bags something to serve as a structure to paper mache around -cut or tear strips of newspaper -create a paste with Elmers glue and a little bit of water. -paint paste over newspaper strips and begin to wrap over the built armature. -continue to add more layers -once finished and dry.additional details may be created with a sculpting polymer -when dry piece can be painted. *MINIMUM SIZE REQUIREMENT 20X20 Examples
