Masthead NME masthead is the same style as the masthead on the front cover and in the same location,

, but the size has become smaller. The word contents is next to this and is in a white font. It is also in the same font as the masthead. Main Image the main image is a Polaroid style shot of a woman standing in front of a coach / tour bus. This almost looks like a holiday picture, which could be trying to illustrate a theme for this issue. Band Index band names are listed on the far left in an index. They are in black and red keeping the theme across the entire page, it also makes it much simpler for readers to find out the information they want about their favourite bands. Dateline the dateline stays in the same place for every issue and is also in white text and a similar font to the masthead, keeping with the theme. Sub-Headings the sub-headings are blocked out in black to help the text stand out more and to separate pieces of information and to follow the theme of the page. Flash/USP there is a box in the terminal area of the page which is trying to persuade readers to subscribe to the magazine for a reduced price. This is the last thing you see on the page.

Background the black background in which the main image and text are placed on is an image of a suitcase on its side. This reinforces the idea that the woman is on holiday and keeps the theme it has already created.
Editors Note there is an editors note with their insight into the magazine. This makes it more personal for the reader; this is further assisted by the use of colloquial slang, eh. It also contains page numbers referring the reader to the pages of the topics he mentions.
