    There are several situations where the normally negative effects of the Mangalik dosha in a birth chart are cancelled or neutralized according to Vedic astrology principles: 1) When Mars is placed in signs ruled by itself or its friends, or aspected by benefics like Jupiter or the Moon. 2) For certain ascendants like Cancer, Leo, Aquarius, the placement of Mars may not cause dosha at all. 3) The dosha can be neutralized if it is found in both the male and female birth charts, or if Mars is aspected or conjuncted by Jupiter, placed in its own sign/exaltation, or situated in certain houses with benefic placement

If Mars is placed in 8th house and ascendant lord happens to be Venus the effects of the dosha are neutralized. If Mars is placed in 8th house with Jupiter as 8th lord the effects of the dosha are neutralized. If Mars is placed in 12th house with Venus as 12th lord the effects of the dosha are neutralized.
