Decide which rule you want to implement in your classroom Determine negative consequences for noncompliance ( discipline hierarchy ) Determine positive consequences for appropriate behaviour ( rewards ) List the rules on the board along with positive and negative consequences

1ST time a student disrupts 2nd and 3rd time, the same student 4th time, the same student 5th time, *Severe clause ( demonstrate behaviour which threatening )

Warning Time-out for about 5 minutes Inform parents by call or letter Meet the principal There is no fighting in this classroom. You know the rule. You have chosen to go to the principals office immediately. We will discuss this later

Non- assertive
Ive asked you to repeatedly to stop talking and you continue to do it. Please stop. Why do you and Bill continue to fight? Youve been told time and again to stop it.
