--what do you really look in your job- money or job satisfaction

A happy worker is a productive worker doesnt clarify the complex relationship between Job satisfaction and productivity.

If a job holds little potential for intrinsic rewards and extrinsic rewards bear a very little relationship.

There is a negative relationship between Job satisfaction and absenteeism, though the correlation is not high.

The employees must do whatever possible to minimize turnover, making the employees feel satisfied on their jobs.

The satisfaction comes because you work hard and it pays off. It is not as glamorous as I thought it would be, but, you know, I appreciate it more than I ever knew I would, and I love it more than I ever knew I would. Lee Ann Womack A man cannot be comfortable without its own approval. Mark Twain Earth provides enough to satisfied every mans need, but not every mens greed. M.Gandhi

Whether job satisfaction is intrinsic or extrinsic doesnt really matter. Its up to you to earn the satisfactions, and once you have them, to decide whether theyre satisfying or not. This makes your satisfaction co-dependent on your performance in exchange for what the employer decides to provide.

Dissatisfaction is a possibility for both of you, and this adds the dimension of job related stress. many job satisfactions are vulnerable to forces beyond anyones ability to control. The stalemate between what you want and can provide, and what the employer is willing to offer and spend means some dissatisfactions may never get fixed. Whats evolved over the years is an unspoken take or leave it atmosphere that has given rise to the importance of greater self-sufficiency

When you are satisfied with your job you recognize an income generating opportunity when you see it. Whether you are self employed or employed you view opportunities not as hard work but as an avenue to earn more. Happy at job.

The most serious side effects of job dissatisfaction are stress-induced risks to the employee's emotional and physical well-being and the spread of negativism to other employees.
