INT 411 The Three Seeds of Maturity As I read Seeds of Imagination, I got the message that you have

to sees beyond the seen in order to have a productive mind. Planting the seed of imagination also enhances creativity. This seed of maturity is saying that you must have dreams and an imagination with creativity to be successful. A good imagination produces good ideas that could ta e you far. !od made us this way. As I read Seeds of Preparation, I got the message that you must start to put the imagination into play. There are four elements in preparation, which include, time management, fitness, practice, and study. The elements are some of the things that are re"uired to ma e the imagination come to reality. These elements e#plain that if you are on time then you do not miss any opportunities and the more nowledge we will have if we study. It e#plains that practice eeps us going and we need to be fit in order to be productive. As I read Seeds of Struggle, I got the message that we struggle at some point in our lives to get to where we need to be. There will be downfalls but we must push through it to be successful. $e can get mad about the situation or we can get through it. The way we handle struggle determines the level of maturity. !iving up too soon is dangerous and not the way to go. %ope and prayer get us through those times. The "uotation from each seed that I feel best represents the concepts of imagination, preparation, and struggle respectively are as follows& Imagination& 'reativity is part of !od(s image in man, and it is meant to find e#pression in an enterprising style of life as we loo for ways to show gratitude to !od. I chose this

because planting the seed of imagination enhances creativity. A good imagination increases the chances of becoming successful. Preparation& The hand of the diligent will rule. I chose this because if you do not wor diligently then you will get nowhere. )ou must ma e preparations from your imagination to be successful. Struggle& $ait for the *+,-. be strong, and let your heart ta e courage. yes, wait for the *+,-. I chose this one because no matter the struggle, the *ord will be there. $e must be patient and the *ord will help us push through the struggle. In my opinion, I believe this chapter is teaching interdisciplinarians that there are ingredients and elements that should be integrated to become a better you. I thin this chapter would go great if integrated with the Theory of Success in *eading and Sustaining 'hange. The three seeds of maturity can teach someone how to become mature and successful. I am sure with these two combined, the information given would be more elaborative. ,eferences Arroyo, Andrew T. /Seeds of 0aturity./ Ideas and Their Influences. 1 ed. S.l.& 2endall %unt, 1345. 4678.
