The whole course was innovative and interesting for me because I, learnt the essence of teaching, learning and

assessment. The facilitator provided us conducive learning classroom environment where I freely interacted with other fellows. The classroom discussion was fruitful for me because now I can easily demonstrate my ideas. For a teacher it is

necessary to know about all learning theories and learning domains because in classroom teaching these theories are helpful to understand the level of children and their learning. Assessment is a process of informing teaching learning process. It is to do with the students rather than doing to the students. This broader of assessment is a new learning for me. When I look back and reflect on the nature and approach of my assessment practice, I ask few critical questions. Firstly, what was the main objective of my assessment? Secondly, what was

the range of information obtained through assessment? Thirdly, what decisions I made for improvement? Fourthly, how did I follow the cyclic nature of the assessment? When I analyze my assessment in view of these questions, I find that my assessment was through paper pencil test. The information obtained was only to see how much the students learned, hence for judgmental purpose. To see who is weaker and who is better. I never reviewed my teacher method not reflected upon the process. Through the assessment course I learned that assessment is a broader term that I believed and practiced. For a teacher, it is cyclic process in which planning is followed by implementation, learning outcomes, evaluation, decision making, reviewing the learning process, revise plan, revise teaching method and so on. This cycle repeats regularly throughout the academic session. Further, the information of learning takes places through variety

of ways which includes paper pencil assessment and alternative assessment techniques. This continuous revision of learning

process helps in improving the learning process. Therefore I will use it for better learning of my students in during my teaching.
