By learning in a fun, interactive and hands-on way, children gain a great deal of benefit from the experiences they have at the centre. Our 5 hero characters encourage visitors to get involved rather than passively wander around the center. Everyone is encouraged to get active, have fun and learn along the way!

Each aspect of our Heroes Programme is interconnected with visitors being led to take what they have learnt further and to expand on good practices in each field.

Green Hero
This element of our programme helps children learn about how to look after the environment in an interactive and fun way. All activities include an element that relates it back to

the natural environment and what we as humans can do to

make a difference. Visitors find out about reducing, reusing and recycling, our ecological footprints and how to protect nature. They come

to understand that everything is connected in some way

and that our actions alter the world around us during:

Sports Hero
Visitors enjoy excellent sports facilities in a controlled manner by learning the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle. The focus is SAQ training (Speed, Agility and Quickness). While having fun, children develop key physical and psychological attributes that are crucial to educational performance and personal development. This in turn makes them a true Sports Hero.

Horse Hero
As our horses are the pride and joy at Al Tamimi Stables, we always take visitors to the stables to show them our magnificent creatures and to teach them about how to look

after them.
By learning to respect the needs of horses and the unique history of each breed, deeply enrooted in the UAE culture, the visitor becomes a Horse Hero.

Creativity Hero
Visitors are actively encouraged to express their creative sides in our art & crafts, cooking or dance studios. Here they are supported by expert instructors who help to

bring out the best in them and facilitate them in becoming

Creativity Heroes.

AL Creativity Hero Options

Option 1: Recycled Crafts Workshops

The recycled crafts workshops does not incur any Option 2: Cooking Demonstrations additional costs. The other additional activities, which are cooking demonstrations, drama workshops, and dance workshops, each have an additional cost. Option 3: Drama Workshops If one of the additional activities is chosen to be included in the program then it has to be replaced with another one, since the children can only have a total of Option 4: Dance Workshops 5 activities.

Recycled Crafts Workshops

The aim of our Creativity Hero is to open up a childrens mind

and imagination. In our art studio we like to concentrate on recreating and recycling in art. We first start by introducing the words Reuse, reduce and recycle.

We have activities for all age groups and this program

allows the children to explore the world of waste as well as creating a master piece to take home with them.

Our cooking studio is the ultimate place to explore your

Freestyle dancing is a style of physical movement,

usually done to music, that isnt choreographed or planned ahead of time. With Its widespread popularity it is not only fun and

good exercise, but also a great form of confidenceboosting self-expression. Each child can enjoy learning this stylish and popular freestyle dance with our experienced dance instructor.

Animal Care Hero
Animal Care Hero teaches about how to care for animals in a hands-on way. At Al Tamimi Stables we are passionate about all living creatures and aim to enlighten visitors about

how they should be treated.

A visit to our petting farm is a unique experience with a variety of goats and their kids, sheep and their lambs, chickens, tortoise, terrapins, lamas, pygmy goats, cows and

their calves and ducks with cute ducklings. The programme

participants help to feed them and groom them, as well as learn about their importance to farmers and where their natural habitat is.

School package: 6-12 year old students

Educational field trip packages

Duration: 3 hours
Animal Care Hero Interaction with petting farm animals, learning about their natural habitat, how to care, feed and groom them. Horse Hero Learn about the history of each breed, caring and grooming in an air conditioned stable. Sport Hero Team work games to develop coordination, self confidence and much more. Green Hero Learning about the environment, animals, nature, and the impact reusing and recycling has on the world around us. And fascinating nature trails.
