What have you learnt about the technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Photography w/pictures of camera etc For my photo shoot I used a Canon 1100D series !s this was a camera I was not familiar with" I had to e#periment with it before I was able to use it to it full potential It was $uite easy to grasp how to use this camera and so I $uic%ly set up my model how I wanted him and starting ta%ing photos avoiding blurred or out of focus photos which would ruin the shot Without the use of a green room" photography was made harder although I used the white bac%drop of my friends& %itchen as a compromise 'ighting was a %ey aspect of my photo shoot as the house genre of my maga(ine meant that my model had to be brightly lit to fit the %ind of photographs I wanted to capture I needed lots of light which wasn&t too hard consider the strong lights in his %itchen as well as natural light coming from the bac% garden and use of camera flash )ne problem that I met was a slight glare on some of the photos from the camera flash and I have now learnt that in order to stop this from spoiling the pictures I ta%e in future I have to be more careful with camera flash and the angles that light bounces off glasses )verall I felt that using the camera was an easy tas% because my model was very cooperative Photoshop When in got down to the construction of my maga(ine" !dobe *hotoshop C+, was what I used I had some worries about the program due to my lac% of e#perience with it" however" shortly after starting the tas% I $uic%ly got used to how *hotoshop wor%ed as well as the tools needed to build my maga(ine from scratch )verall I felt as though photoshop has specific tools that allowed me to do things that I needed to do which other software&s would not For e#ample the magnetic tool was a big help in the production of my final maga(ine as it allowed me to efficiently cut out my images from the bac%ground and with some final touches using the $uic% select and magic wand" meant that even though I did not use a green room" my images came out -ust as clear and crisp as they would have if I had used one .he colour pic%er and blending options meant that I could get the e#act colour I desired for each part of my maga(ine with the right shadow or glow around te#t or bo#es

'ayers were my only problem when it came to photoshop as multiple layers $uic%ly became unorgani(ed I would say that this is the only thing that obstructed my creative ideas /owever I did e#pect to come across many more problems and I did not 0 there was little technology that stopped me from reaching my potential and I am happy to say that my maga(ine loo%s very professional now
