become warrior of warriors, king of the kings,
hero of the heroes but he would have to die.
4. Amazing thing that happened was that the
10 –day old child was speaking and that
too that very elder and old people say.
5.The tiger king spoke that all those who
take birth must die one day, we don’t need
your predictions
It would make sense when you tell them how
he would die.
6.The chief astrologer said that as he was
born in the month of bull, and as bull and
tigers are enemies so the death would
come from a tiger.
7. As thought that after hearing the word
“tiger” the king would be terrified nothing
of that sort happened but he spoke the
words “let the tigers be aware.”.
Question} how was the tiger king brought
up?
Answer} the tiger king was given the milk of
an English cow; he was brought up by an
English nanny,
He was thought by an English tutor in
English, he saw only English films and none

This was the same as done in the other
states in the rest of India
Phase 2

1.But the astrologer’s prediction was

remembered.
2. Slowly but this fact came into the ears of
the king.
3. Hearing this king went on the hunting of
the tigers, when he went on hunting and he
killed the first tiger he was thrilled beyond
any measure.
4.When he killed the first tiger he sent the
dead beast to the astrologer and told them
to see the dead beast.
5. The astrologer said that you may kill the 99
tigers but you must be very careful with
the 100th tiger.
6. hearing this the tiger king said that what if
the 100th tiger was also killed the

would cut his tuft and crop his hair short
and would become an insurance agent.

killing of the tigers except the Maharaja.
2.It was proclaimed that if anyone even tried
to fling a stone on a tiger his all the
property would be confiscated.
3.The king said that he would attend any
matter after the killing of the 100 tigers
=>this proves that the king was nota good
king as he said that he would attend any
matter after the killing of the 100 tigers.
4. Sometime it happened so that the bullet
missed its mark and the tiger leapt upon the
king, but the brave king fought and was the
only one who won.
5. Once a high-ranking British officer visited
his state, he was very fond of killing tigers.
And was fond of having photograph after
killing the beast.
6. But as maharaja was firm in his resolution
he did not allow that British official to kill the
tiger
The British officer said that the maharaja
could kill the tiger himself but he should be
allowed to have a photograph with the dead
beast.
7.Maharaja refused this proposal even saying
that the other officials would also come to
the state for the killing of the tigers,
because of this maharaja was in danger of
losing his state.
8.Hearing this maharaja ordered the English
jewelers company to send some rings of
different kinds and designs, so the
company sent some fifty rings to the
maharaja.
9.The maharaja sent that set to the good
lady of that officer, he thought that the
lady would take 2 or 3 rings and would
return the rest.
10. But the lady kept the 50 rings and sent a
letter of thanks.
11. Soon within 2 or 3 days the maharaja
received a bill of 3 lakh rupees.
12. The maharaja thanked the god that he
just lost 3 lakh rupees but his kingdom was
saved.
PHASE 4

1.maharaja’s tiger hunt was quite successful

2.That is he was able to kill 70 tigers.(in 10
years)
3.But there was a big problem faced by the
king which bought the mission to a stand
still.
Question} what was the problem faced by
the maharaja during his mission of killing the
tigers?
Answer} the problem faced by the raja was
that due to his explicit hunting the population
of the tigers had soared down to an
unbelievable level. This problem bought this
problem bought the mission of the raja to a
stand still.
4.As in the book to make a little funny sense
it is written that the tigers practiced birth
control committed hara-kiri or they out of
the state so just to be shot by the British
hands.
5.The next day then tiger king sent an ordeal
to the dewan that he wanted to get
married.
6.The dewan said that he was not going to
marry him ,but the tiger king shrugged and
said that he was not to marry with him.
7.Hearing this dewan said that a tiger king is
enough they did not want to have a tiger
queen either.
He said that there ancestors married the
sword so he could marry with a gun but he
could not marry to a tigress.
8.The laughed out loudly and said that I want
to marry a girl of human ranks.
9.He said that he would marry a princess of
that state in which the population of the
tigers is the highest.
1.0.Each time he went to the state of her
wife he killed 5 or 6 tigers.
11. In this way he was able to kill all the 99
tigers, the skin of these dead beasts were
hung in the
Reception hall of the pratibandapuram
palace.
PHASE 5
1. The maharaja was extremely excited to
complete his tally of the 100th tiger.
2. He had only one dream thought out the
day or had been night and it was to kill the
100th tiger.
3. But because of his killings his father-in-
law’s tiger farms had run dry.
4. The sighting of the tiger was nearly
impossible, but as remembered that he
would have to be very careful with the 100th
tiger as said by the chief astrologer.
5. The maharaja became very gloomy, but
then a strange fact came to his ears.
Fact – the fact which came to maharaja’s
ears was that the sheep were disappearing
frequently from the hill side of his own state.
6. This fact helped the village as the
maharaja ordered a 3 – year redemption
from all sorts of the taxes from that village.
The maharaja was so determined that he was
not ready to leave the forest killing that
beast, due his inability of finding the tiger the
maharaja’s fury crossed the limits that many
officers of his own state lost there jobs.
8.The impact was so large that he ordered
the dewan to double the land tax for that
village.
9.Due to the dissatisfaction of the people the
kingdom could go in the hands of Indian
national congress which could result in the
resignation of the dewan sahib.
1.0. Hearing this dewan left the tiger which
he had hid in his place brought by him
from the people’s park in the madras.
1.1 On the following day the same tiger
wandered in the forest.
1.2 The tiger went into the feet of the king
and said him in very humble tone that he
would do whatever he wanted.
1.3 The king fired a shot at the tiger in a very
joyful mood he said that he had killed the
100th tiger and went to his embassy in his
car, he told his man to bring the dead
beast to his capital in a grand procession.
1.4 After the king had gone his men went
near the tiger to have close look of the
dead beast, but to there amazement the
tiger was not dead he rolled his eyes in
baffled way.
1.5 The man came to know that the tiger was
not dead and the bullet had misses its
mark.
1.6 They shot the tiger again and killed the
tiger this time so that the king would not
know that they had killed the tiger or
else they would have lost there jobs.
1.7 As the tiger king had told them the dead
tiger was taken in a procession through
the town and was buried and a tomb was
erected over it.
1.8 A few days later, it was maharaja’s son’s
birthday was celebrated.
1.9 Until then the maharaja had given up his
mind over to hunting tigers.
1.10 But the king
had turned his attention towards the
child.
1.11 He wished to give the child a very special
gift, so he went on shopping.
1.12 He searched every shop but could not
find anything suitable. Finally he was
able to spot a wooden tiger and thought
that it was the perfect gift.
1.13 The tiger cost only two annas and a
quarter, but the shopkeeper knew if
quoted such a low cost he would be
punished under the rules of emergency.
1.14 So praising the sculpture he said that it
is a very rare piece of craftsmanship and
asked for 300 rupees.
1.15 King gave the money and bought the
idol at there home
1.16 The father and the son played with the
idol whole day.
1.17 But the tiger was a sculpture carved by
an unskilled carpenter so it had tiny
slivers of wood coming up like quills all
over it.
1.18 One of those silvers pierced maharaja’s
right hand, maharaja removed the sliver
with his left hand and continued to play
with it.
1.19 The next day maharaja’s hand was
flared with the infection and four days
later it emerged into a suppurating sore
which had spread all over his arm.
1.20 Three of the most famous surgeons
were brought to the service from the
madras.
1.21 After holding a consultation they
decided to operate.
1.22 The operation took place, the operation
was successful, but the maharaja was
dead.
1.23 In this way the 100 tiger took its
th

revenge from the king.
