Thursday 27 February 2014 Dear parents, This is an exciting time for the GAA us since we are starting another

unit of inquiry and our best practice will be evaluated by the IB verification team on 17 and 18 March. We have planned another information session for parents about our PYP journey at GAA on Thursday 13 th March after the Community Sharing (led by the PE team) for grade 1-5 (approx. 8.30 am in the Auditorium). Our counselors will also take the opportunity to sh are GAAs school-wide behavior plan. Students shall continue to communicate their learning in Grade-specific Community Sharing gatherings. You are invited to these events as usual, they start after the National Anthem at 7.45:

The five/ six week inquiry will be driven by the homeroom teachers and authentic connections will be made wherever possible during Arabic, Visual Arts, Music, Dance, Drama, PE and Fieldtrips.
