145 Ross Street East Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6H 0S3 Telephone: 306.693.4626 Fax: 306.692.5330 www.aepeacock.com Dear Business Patron, The A.E. Peacock Music Parents Association is a parent organization dedicated to supporting the 150+ students involved in music study at Peacock Collegiate in Moose Jaw. Much of this support is shown through organizing fundraisers that help defray the travel costs for our music groups. All proceeds raised go directly to help cover costs for students. As Director of Music, I was hoping that you would be willing to partner with us this year and support our music students at Peacock Collegiate. In return, we are happy to advertise your business name at concerts in a paper program and announce you as a supporter throughout the concerts this year. We can also arrange a performance on site to help attract community members to your business. I am open to ideas you might have that could highlight your business! By being involved in music, research shows students not only increase math and reading scores, but also graduation retention rates. Students also learn workability skills including commitment, dedication, group skills, excellence through a high level of standards, being prepared and to problem solve creatively. This creates well rounded community members and dependable employees for our local businesses. There are many ways to help support us: 1. Our Sweet Sounds dessert and silent auction on March 17th. By donating an item to a student, the money raised goes directly to subsidize the cost of their trip. 2. Donating money directly to help cover the costs of food for Sweet Sounds or our concession fundraiser during One Act Drama Festival here in Moose Jaw would also help all students at Peacock by decreasing overhead costs and therefore increasing profits. 3. You could sponsor the music trips directly. By giving financially, you can help lower the costs being split by students throughout the program. Moose Jaw carries a long tradition of band and choral excellence and I would like to continue to add to that legacy through the students at A.E. Peacock.

Thank you for considering this opportunity. Cameron Church
