River Nile Theory – Egyptians created a theory about illness, based

on the river Nile. They believed the body was made up of channels
of running blood from the heart to the other organs. Just like the
river Nile, the Egyptians thought if the channels got blocked in the
body then you would become ill.

Gods – The Egyptians believed in spiritual gods, they thought that

each god was for different things. They believed strongly in the
afterlife so believing in gods gave them a better hope for life after
death.

Herbs – The Egyptians had a large trade link between many

countries so this helped to develop better medicines with herbs and
plants for the Egypt.

Mummies – Because the Egyptians believed in the after life they

preserved there bodies in mummies. They kept the heart in the
body because they believed it had intelligence. It also depended on
who you were if you were to keep the other organs. If your organs
were taken out they were kept in jars.
