December 5, 2014 Dear Parents, The infants have developed an ongoing interest in plastic balls.

Many of the infants have constantly been playing with balls, whether it be throwing, holding or chasing a ball. This interest is evident, and because of it I want to support the infants in their discovery. I have implemented activities such as bringing in plastic balls of different textures and shapes, ball ramp and a ball hole game. The infants have been fully engaged in their play with balls, and as an educator it has been refreshing to see such an interest flourish. We have also changed the environment in supplying different types of balls that are always accessible for the children to play and learn from. Throughout the different activities I have documented your children in play, and have documented their experiences. Feel free to ask myself for a copy of any piece of the documentation as it is a great way to connect with your child. It has been great being able to spend time with your infants!

Sincerely, OJT Student Emily MacMillan
