Cartoonology. There is great theology in cartoons and comics.

The pot of gold at the end of a rainbow is just a myth, of course, but my wife and I actually saw the end of a rainbow once while we were missionaries in Portugal. It touched down in a huge field. Though there was no visible sign of any gold, it was an amazing sight. Here in the lue !idge "ountains, where we now live, that would be a very rare opportunity. The rainbow, itself, is a pot of gold. #od set the rainbow in the s$y as a reminder of his covenant with all man$ind through %oah. He had destroyed all living things through the great flood e&cept %oah, his family and all the animals placed on the ar$. (id you $now that the rainbow is an eternal reminder of #od)s covenant* The scripture tells us that there is a rainbow in heaven. +ohn saw it in his revelation of last things as #od allowed him to see Him on His throne ,!evelation -./, 01.02. Coupled with all the other things +ohn said about heaven, it sounds li$e it is going to be a place of ine&plicable beauty.
