Abstract : A theoretical study assessing how the choice of model affects the predicted response of structure a rigid structure mounted high damping rubber isolator presented ,By modeling & analysis of G+2 story building and carrying design of high damping rubber base isolator for the maximum response of structure for lateral load and also carrying performance of the structure with and without base isolated structure for the recent earthquake in India for the period of 2009-13 having magnitude above 4 , for the different site geology according to seismotonic atlas such as alluvium ,aeolin, sandstone, schist etc .Results illustrates the utilization of strong motion records to study local site and geological effects of structure with and without base isolated structure Keywords : High Damping Rubber , SAP 2000,Strong Motion Records, Time History Analysis
