Organized a Square 1 Art fundraiser for each school, raising more than 1,000 dollars between both schools. Displayed artwork in both schools year around and put together Putnam Elementarys Night of the Arts and the Marietta City Schools All District Art Show. Collaborated with staff to form Student Learning Objectives, Smart Goals, and participated in the 4 Year Residency Program. Produced and instructed a studio lesson and a critique lesson based on the art works by Jonathan Burstein, incorporating the human portrait and collage using magazine clippings. Art Education Teaching Experience, BGSU Saturday Art Program. Bowling Green, Ohio September December 2010 Co-taught 10 one-hour classes of 22 kindergarten students on Saturday mornings. Integrated mathematics into artistic unit plan, based around a camping theme and state standards. Constructed a welcoming, imaginative atmosphere by transforming the normal classroom into a camping setting. Organized and visually displayed students 2D and 3D art works to parents at a final art show.

Toledo, Ohio February April 2010 Co-taught 4 lessons to special needs students from 2nd to 4th grade levels. Reinforced lessons to encourage students to use fine motor skills and imagination and assessed students based on individual needs. Incorporated story books and artists to introduce each lesson that included various materials and techniques, such as print making, drawing, and 3D sculpting.
