GRC Complaint No. 2014-75

Harry B. Scheeler, Jr. <harryrescue911@gmail.com> Wed, Mar 12, 2014 at 4:05 PM To: "Sharkey, Robert" <Robert.Sharkey@dca.state.nj.us>, "Caruso, Frank" <Frank.Caruso@dca.state.nj.us> Cc: Valentina DiPippo <Valentina.DiPippo@dol.lps.state.nj.us>, "joseph.bruno@dot.state.nj.us" <joseph.bruno@dot.state.nj.us> Mr. Sharkey, I respectfully request my objections of this extension to be part of the official record in this case. The Open Public Records Act affords the government 7 full business days to comply with the release of records. My complaint alleges an unlawful denial and requests the GRC Order the release of the documents which have been withheld. The time it takes the GRC or Court to give a ruling delays the documents even more. If I had filed suit and filed for an Order to Show Cause Ms. DiPippo would have to present her case in 3-5 days. As such the GRC's request for a SOI in 5 days is reasonable. Ms. DiPippo obviously had a phone conference with you which I was not given an opportunity to attend. This communication would have never been allowed in Court and I would have further been afforded the opportunity to know the reason for extension and object. Ms. DiPippo was given more than a reasonable extension of 30 days. Now again communication has taken place with the GRC which I was not given a chance to participate in. Again Ms. DiPippo was given another extension without giving me the opportunity to know the reason or object. The continued delay of this case is unjust. Respectfully, Harry B. Scheeler, Jr.
