The song is made by Filipinas (words in Filipino) as a response to the question

how are you going to look and think globally as a woman. The song breaks the
stereotyping of women, especially the Filipino women as low standard beings, weak,
vulnerable and futile; even the tune and the “feeling” of the song makes it strong
and loud. Globally, Filipinas are regarded as weak since the time of the colonization
of the Spaniards. However, the past opened the minds of the Filipina (also the
Filipinos) that we have the right to be respected, to do and to be. Every woman is
an asset and every asset lifts the country to development.
