The study of World History covers a broad spectrum of topics. These topics include Prehistory and the first humans, ancient civilizations, and some present-day material. Patters of culture, politics, religion, and geography are included in the study of these areas. The course will culminate with a comprehensive final exam, which is used to gauge student mastery of the sub ect matter of World History as set forth in the !orth "arolina #tandard "ourse of #tudy $!"#"#%. Therefore, no evaluation is considered complete until the student has corrected it to the instructor9s satisfaction.
