Ensure your wor!piece has (een prepared to (e free of any paint, o-ides or other surface finishes ensuring a good electrical contact. /a!e particular care to avoid accidental "# welding flash to the s!in or eyes. 1ever leave the 2%3 welder running unattended. &egularly inspect the welding tip and shield for damage. 6hen welding is finished or interrupted, turn off the shielding gas at the regulator, turn off the machine and secure the handpiece safely.
