Healthy is the state of being free from illness and disabilities Smoking is the act of using a cigarette made from tobacco leaves for personal consumption Alcoholic beverages are liquors or brews containing alcohol as the active ingredient III. Essential Questions

What do you do to make yourselves healthy? Do you see your dad or mom smoke or drink at home? Do you like it when you see them smoke or drink? Do you think these actions are healthy?

IV. Summary of the Episode

Basically the episode circled on Armon, Henyo, Armons mom and Armons Lolo. It started with Armon carrying cigarettes and and a drink asking Henyo to try these vices with him. Henyo, on the other hand, talked about the consequences and the repercussions of drinking and smoking. As Armond questioned why his grandfather likes these vices so much, Henyo reiterated the past events that led to the different problems of Armonds family with his grandfather. Nevertheless, Armond still tried to smoke and was caught by his mother. His mother, just like Henyo, talked to Armond on the different problems that these vices can bring to you, to your family, friends and your surroundings. V. Pre- Viewing (Motivation)

Ask the students to draw on the things they think could make them healthy. On the other hand, ask them to draw things that they think is not good for them Ask them to explain in the end. VI. Viewing Proper

Using bond papers and coloring materials, let the students create their own pledges I will take care of my health and my body because ____ Class Activity

Using the created pledges, let the class make a mural out of it depicting a human body to be posted on the wall of the classroom as a reminder of their promise to take care of themselves VII. Synthesis and Valuing

Health is wealth, and is one of the more important facets of living life. Some decisions in life are most often than not based on your health being. This just shows how being not healthy is difficult in times like these where life is fast and unyielding.

To summarize and synthesize todays meeting, inform the students on the different things that they can do to be able achieve a healthy well being. Also, to be able to reach out to these students that what they see in TV and Media is not always good for them such as smoking and drinking. In line with this, inform them with the things that can happen (asthma attacks, fatty liver, cancer, etc) once they start using these vices VII. Homework
