According to dictionary.com, ethics are the rules of conduct recognized in respect to a particular class of human actions or a particular group, culture, etc..

Code of Ethics for computer use , is a written set of expectations and definitions of what is considered appropriate or acceptable use that is published for users to follow (Lever-Duffy, 2011).

The TEACH Act, an acronym for the Technology, Education, and Copyright Harmonization Act, gives more freedom to accredited, nonprofit educational institutions to use copyright protected materials in distance education including on Web sites and by other digital means (Lin, 2007). This a good way to protect the use of information with out plagiarism coming to play.
