Summary of Qualifications
Over thirty years in the fields of vocational education, interior design and construction technology allow me to bring a wealth of experience to the sustainability and process improvement fields. Conservation and energy efficiency have always held priority in design, project execution, training others and in my personal life. Finding solutions for unique or complex problems continue to bring a sense of satisfaction, while building a cohesive team is always a vital part of my professional endeavors. There have been some great opportunities to help students grasp concepts by collaborating with colleagues to combine academic disciplines with current building projects. Current course work focuses on improving processes and advanced issues of sustainability and renewable energy.

Project Involvement
Designing and building complex projects incorporating multiple systems, has developed my expertise in the residential and light commercial construction industry. High school construction education with hands on has been my focus the past eleven years. (Students actually build the homes). The self-written curriculum covers design, estimating and building techniques including the mechanical trades integrating green building and renewable energy components. Past experience includes high-end kitchen and bathroom projects beginning from the design phase, then coordinated through completion.
