AWARENESS OF EMPLOYEES ABOUT THEIR ACTUAL COMPENSATION AND ITS IMPACT ON THEIR MOTIVATION, A CASE STUDY OF CITI BANK

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Methodology is a way to systematically solve the research problem. It may be understood as a science of studying how research is done scientifically. In it we study the various steps that are generally adopted by a researcher in studying his research problem along with the logic behind them. It is necessary for the researcher to know not only the research methods or techniques but also the methodology. Data Source : The data can be collected from two sources, i.e. primary and secondary. I will be collecting the entire data of this project on the employees actual compensation from primary sources, and secondary data from employees past surveys etc. Research Methodology will involve research plan that has following major steps :

1. Defining the data source a. Primary b. Secondary 2. Research approach 3. Questionnaire 4. Data Analysis

Research Design
Ill be using Exploratory research design for the purpose of this study.

Universe
The universe for the research study will be the Employees of CITI Bank, Gurgaon

OBJECTIVES

To identify the various compensation policies. To study the impact of compensation on employees motivation. To understand in detail how to establish pay rates to different level of employee. To understand the impact of compensation management on performance level. A study of the compensation management strategies followed in CITI Bank.
