1- they were among the first to use money to buy goods instead of swapping them. 2- They were pioneers in arithmetic. 3- They divided the day into 24 hours, and the minute into 60 seconds.

The Babylonians were very interested in the heavens because they thought the stars were gods. The Babylonians thought that number 7 was lucky , because they worshipped the seven planets known by them .
