BASIC STITCHES:
Ch, sc, dc.
NOTES:
Item was made with 2 dif-
ferent types of mohair and
one cotton.
Keep tension slightly loose
for a draped effect.
WRAP
Row 1: Hold all three strands to-
gether as one, ch 30, sc in sec-
ond ch from hook, (ch 1, skip
next ch, sc in next ch) across,
turn. (15 sc, 14 ch sps made)
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in first st, (dc in
next ch sp, sc in next st) across,
turn. (29 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1, sc in first st, (ch 1,
skip next st, sc in next st)
across, turn.
Next Rows: Repeat rows 2 and 3
alternately until piece measures
46", ending with row 2. At end of
last row, fasten off.
Lay piece flat, twist once at center
and sew short ends together.
Envelop yourself in luxurious warmth.

anet Renfeldt, a professional de-
signer and author, learned to cro-
chet from her talented German grand-
mother when she was seven years
old. Today she and her mother run a
small business where they design
patterns for both crochet and knit.
Janet and her husband, Brian, have
been married 12 years and are relo-
cating to a new home in Wisconsin.
Janet works very hard creating beau-
tiful patterns, teaching crochet and
knit techniques and writing articles
but tries to find time for her favorite
pastime of reading and working
crossword puzzles.
