Important Note:
When Valu Guide Rail is used as a
wear strip, the UHMW insert should be
fastened to the metal sheath at the lead-
ing end of the rail. Using a sheet metal
screw through the back of the sheath
or a heavy wire pin from the side should be adequate. This will
prevent the insert from sliding within the sheath in the event the
chain accidentally catches on a leading edge. This also allows for
thermal expansion and contraction of the UHMW insert.
