MECHANISM
5 SKS BLOCK II (5 WEEKS) METHODS: LECTURE REVIEW PRACTICAL PBL ( 2 MODULS) (no CSL)

Lecture
Will be delivered by 6 departments : 1. Microbiology, 2. Parasitology, 3. Nutrition, 4. Clinical pathology, 5. Pathology anatomy, 6. Internal medicine

Lecture
Will be given in summary/outlines only. Students have to find/search more information from other sources Lectures will be given in a big class Usually 1 lecturer from 1 departement, except Pathology Anatomy 2-3 lectures (due to many topics)

Practical
Will

be delivered by 4 departements: Microbiology, nutrition, clinical pathology, pathology anatomy Practical will use guiding books or atlas, besides prac materials

PRACTICAL
Students must wear lab coat and name tag Practical groups will be delivered by lecturer Group will have a lab instructor There is a lab instructor training for each prac (delivered by lecturer or Unhas lab instructor)

PBL (PROBLEM BASED LEARNING)

2 MODUL (berak-berak & mata kuning) 3 MEETING EACH MODUL:
TUTORIAL DISCUSSION I ( 2 HOURS) TUTORIAL DISCUSSION II ( 2 HOURS) PLENARY DISCUSSION (3 HOURS)

Each PBL group will be guided by 1 tutor

EVALUATION
FINAL SEMESTER EXAMINATION (MCQ) PRACTICAL EXAMINATION (Essay test/fill in) for all departments (once) REMEDIAL EXAMINATION (THEORY)

EVALUATION
PAP SYSTEM (PENILAIAN ACUAN PATOKAN) PROPORTION:
PRACTICAL 30% (20%) THEORY 70% (80%)

PASSING GRADE = 56
GRADE A = 76-100% GRADE B = 64-75.9% GRADE C = 56-63.9%

REMEDIAL TEST
FOR E, C, AND B GRADES THEORY TEST ONLY EVALUATION SYSTEM IS SIMILAR WITH FINAL EXAM (PASSING GRADE = 56) Grade for remedial = (60%x Grade Final + 40% Grade Remedial)
