Group Formed to Recruit War on Poverty Volunteers Representatives of several service organizations voted here last week to form a steering committee to provide volunteer help in War on Poverty neigh: borhood centers, the Head Start program and in Dallas public schools, The program is aimed at in- volving the total Dallas commu: nity in the city’s educational system. Representatives and their par- ticipating organizations include Mrs. Lorraine Griffin, Dallas War on Poverty director of vol- unteers: Mrs, Abe Hirschman, a Dallas County Community Ae: tion Committee Neighborhood Center volunteer; Mrs. Albert Kronick of the Dallas chapter of the National Council of Jewish Women, and Mes, Claude Booth man, training coordinator of the Dallas Chapter of the American Red Cross.
