______________________________________________________________________________________________ 2. LESSON AIM(S): What am I going to teach? In this lesson I aim to examine how the teachings of Jesus are taught through table fellowship and discipleship. I also aim to explore how we have become Jesus' disciples in creating a kingdom of God. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ 3. LEARNING OUTCOMES: At the end of this lesson, students should be able to. explain the meaning of term table fellowship show an understanding of the term disciples describe how we have become Jesus' disciples identify how Jesus picked the first apostles explain the story of Zacchaeus

ASSESSMENT/EVIDENCE OF STUDENT LEARNING: How will I know that the learning outcomes are being achieved? 1. Key concept one will be assessed by: demonstrating an understanding of the Story of Zacchaeus and answering higher and lower order questions. 2. Key concept two will be assessed by: completing a worksheet following a role play of how Jesus picked His disciples performed by the students.

______________________________________________________________________________________________ 5. PRIOR KNOWLEDGE: What prior knowledge do students have about this topic? In this topic students should have a good understanding of what the term Kingdom of God means as it has been covered in the previous classes as we have be identifying how Jesus taught about the Kingdom of God. Students might also be familiar with the story of Zacchaeus from primary school or by hearing it at mass. We will also be discussing how the likes of dinner, the whole family sitting down together can make people feel and the importance of such an act. Students will be able to identify with this as they would have performed this at home or in a restaurant. Students might also have a prior knowledge of the term discipleship as it might have been looked at in the primary school setting. For those whom are mass goers they would have heard of this word and may be familiar with some of the stories in the bible that involve the disciples.

______________________________________________________________________________________________ 11. LITERACY & NUMERACY: What are the essential aspects of literacy/numeracy in this lesson? In this lesson students will be studying different terms such as table fellowship, disciples and apostles. A role play will also be incorporated into the lesson so therefore the students will be learning visually. Students will have to understand what they have visually seen in order to complete a worksheet that will follow. For those students whom are not visual learners, I will invite a student to explain the story in their own words and read the text of the story in the textbook. ______________________________________________________________________________________________ 12.
