Writing Questionnaire Spring 2014

Name: Co..ter'
Class:

Octd
ClCl1

Sp14, ENGL 1103-

As you will see from chapter 1 of Ken Bain's What the Best College Students Do, much of the work of this class will depend on your attitude toward certain ideas and how you learn to develop your thinking on certain issues. This questionnaire is simply a collection of questions about some of the concepts we will be covering in the class. Now, at the beginning of the semester, you will use this questionnaire as a tool to determine your current knowledge, understanding, and opinions. At the end of the semester, you will use it as a tool to reflect upon your experiences in the class, to make inferences about your own learning, and to see how your ideas about writing may have changed over the course of the semester. Please answer the questions as honestly as you can, without fear of judgment If you are not sure, simply give your best attempt at an answer. Note that while I will read your answers, I will not be responding to what you have written here. Although this tool will help me determine how to cover certain concepts, ultimately, the tool is yours.
