to increase both mother-child survival needs and decrease child mortality rate, specifically focused in Africa.

every woman has access to high quality health care services and ensures that children are better developed for the future

Officer Positions
Anyone can run, elected every four years by Board of Directors President, VP, Secretary, Treasurer, and Fundraising Make connections with medical professionals, hospitals, oversee sites in Africa, etc.

Committees
Executive, Board Selection, Educational and Training Initiative, Finance, Pre-natal and Post-natal risk committee Meet separately as needed

ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES


Quarterly trips to Africa Assess how successful our operations are by looking at statistics to see how pre and postnatal care has been since we have been stationed there Volunteers teach education programs Medical team will be hands-on Members of organization will oversee all operations

FINANCIAL
Costs will be paid through membership fees, sponsors, donors, grants, and revenue The majority of our cost will be based on medical expenses such as,
First aid Kids Hospital Equipment Emergency Costs Educational Classes Nutritional Needs Medicine

Administrative expense such as,


Salaries Rent for our main office Utilities Board meeting Training Staff Development Technology expenses (international phones, wifi)

Transportation and living expenses such as,


Shipping costs of medical supplies Flying costs for doctors, nurses, and members Housing for people involved

Fundraising and Marketing expenses such as,


Concerts to raise awareness Postage and mailing expenses Campaigns Social Media

Why advocate and lobby? To act in support of a particular issue or cause To engage the general public and legislative leaders Cause and effect mechanisms

Promise to Life Foundation will use methods such as: Education, outreach events, grassroots lobbying Canvassing public individuals on prenatal and postnatal health issues Advocacy and lobbying are important b/c allow the citizens and congressional leaders about issues we care most about

Advocacy campaign efforts to engage the public and members call to action to influence policymakers on specific legislative laws Give an opportunity to our members to act on our mission and vision Contact their elected officials Change policies affecting that will help our operations in Africa Advocacy and lobbying are
