Gifted and Talented Exceptionality Report

Definition- Giftedness defines a child with outstanding talent or one in which shows the potential for performing at remarkably high levels when compared to that of other children their age. These children tend to display high levels of performance in intellectual, creative, and artistic areas. These students often possess leadership skills and excel in academic subjects. Currently 3 to 25 percent of the students in school population may be identified as gifted. However, prevalence for this condition is hard to measure due to the complexity and range of abilities.
