In these pictures, the teacher monitors students while they complete various assessments.

By monitoring students while they work the teacher has the expectation that he can enhance learning after he receives the results of the assessment.

During the planning period, the teacher monitors students performance using the power teacher gradebook system. By monitoring students performance the teacher can make adjustments to future lessons and provide extra assistance to students who are in need of it. This is another factor in how the teacher will enhance student learning.

In this image, the teacher provides feedback during instruction. The teacher demonstrates mastery of the content and provides students with informal feedback which is accurate, constructive, and specific. The expectation of the teacher providing feedback is that student misunderstandings of the content are addressed and corrected so that learning may be enhanced.
