AVOIDING ADJECTIVE PILEUPS

When using adjectives when writing, make sure to avoid adjective strings or pileups. Instead of creating a list
of adjectives, find creative ways to incorporate adjectives into your sentences. Adjective strings can be very
exhausting to read!

EXAMPLE OF ADJECTIVE PILEUP (taken from The Great Gatsby):

Nothing except a single, green, minute, faraway light, that might have been the end of a dock.
REMOVAL OF PILEUP (how it is written in the novel):
Nothing except a single green light, minute and faraway, that have been the end of a dock.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GROUP WORK:
Out of the three adjectives your group picked, create 2 different sentences using the adjectives. Make
sure your sentences DO NOT contain adjective pileups!
The sentences can be silly, but make sure they are appropriate!!
