Clearinghouse The Womens Center serves as the campus link to programs, events, and activities relevant to women. Visit our website or call for info. Programs The Womens Center collaborates with other departments and offices to provide special programming complementary to its mission. Support and Referrals Staff will provide support and referral information for those in need. Meeting Space The Womens Center provides a comfortable atmosphere in which to hold group meetings. Call to reserve the Center for your next meeting. Resources A large number of books, videos, and informational materials are available for loan.

Purpose
The Womens Center is an on campus resource center serving students, staff, faculty, and members of the surrounding community. Located in 007 BSB, the Womens Center strives to enhance the lives of women at SRU. The Womens Center staff work collaboratively to: Educate the campus community about womens contributions to society Recognize, celebrate, and promote the multicultural realities of womens lives Challenge barriers to gender equity Affirm students identities Foster leadership opportunities Advocate for social justice Build alliances across race, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, class, age, and abilities The Womens Center serves as the collective voice for those who share a commitment to issues concerning women.
