Dear Mrs. Vivian, I have been privilege enough to be an employee under your management for three years, and for this I am grateful. I also want to take the time out to let you know how wonderful of a manager you have been and you have given me a new prospective on the way I view management based off of my experience. You have shown me that although there are boundaries that are between the relationship of an employer and an employee that the humane part of both parties are still able to be recognized. I have never had a relationship with any of the bosses that Ive had with you and I thank you for showing me another point of view and giving me that experience. I have learned so much from being an employee at Lakevillage Nursing and Rehabilitation as a Dietary Aide. I have enjoyed preparing meals and snack and drinks for the residence, being one of the few faces that they see in the morning when they wake up, its such a joy to be able to be a part of them starting off their day in the mornings, or being able to be a part of their day ending. In either, being a part of the beginning of their day, or the end of it, gives me a chance to make a impact that could carry them through their day or be the reason they lay down with a smile on their face at night, either way, I want to thank you for sharing this opportunity with me, it is a great privilege and honor. I have grown to really value my relationships with the residence, and they not only have opened up to me and allowed me to have relationships with them but I have learned so much about them. I was so concerned with making an impact on them that unknowingly , they impacted me in such a great way. This is an experience that I want to be able to have with not only the residence of Lakevillage but with many other people as well. So this is my letter to you, asking for the priveldge to be able to be a recipient of a recommendation letter written by you.
