Campaigns which are more than just one classroom lesson Participate in Pause Before You Post Campaign for cyberbullying awareness o Pins and posters were used as visual reminders, as well as t-shirts provided for staff o Cyberbullying video and questions for classroom lessons o Lessons are held as a conversation versus the classic lecture style o Students write a post with a positive hash tag Focus on teaching awareness so students know what to do if hey see bullying Counselors began their classroom lesson with a Warm-up question about bystanders. The students answered questions and then watched a video on bystander awareness, and then answered the questions again. There was a 30% change in the number of correct answers. o From this Warm-up, it was concluded that over half of the seventh grade class had witnessed bullying, while only thirty-four percent in sixth graders, and thirty-nine percent in eighth graders. o Students were also asked to write something that they would do as a responsible bystander in the future. o Lessons are geared towards cyberbullying this year. o The same warm-up question was asked at the end of the year, and the beginning of the new school year (only for returning students) to show counselor activities and effectiveness Staff are also educated using the same videos and lessons Midnight Madness basketball tournament o include positive Kudos t-shirts with a cyberbullying message created by students

Mix It Up day is held to encourage students to sit with new people, and strengthen social skills in a fun way Girls/Boys Night Out helps build leadership and positive relationships while subconsciously preventing bullying in each class. Mean Girls is a program run by a guest speaker where girls and parents are educated on appropriate behaviors and eliminating gossip and relational bullying. If a student sees bullying online, they need to bring proof (screenshot or printed page) to a counselor Counselors work with administration Counselors aid in the emotions and offer help and support
