FURLOUGH REVIEW
What an experience! To date we have been in the "good Old U.S.A."
(and I do mean good!) for a little more than 6 months. Yet, we
will leave in 16 shoTt days. Whoo-wee! This thought gets my heart
pounding! How could 180 days pass so quickly? A little review. .
tells me why. We have spent time with 16 congregations, traveled "S J
from Ohio to Southern California and have clocked nearly \5,000y/
miles (a month behind the wheel alone!). Activities: /
^ Presentations, Schools
43 Presentations, Churches
16 Sermons
4 Shona Dinners
4 Vacation Bible Schools
1 Weekend Retreat /
5 Youth or Children's Activities/ \
In addition, we attended the North America Christian Convention, j
one Marriage Enrichment Weekend and participated in the National '
Missionary Convention as exhibitors
/Ve did attend to some matters of personal health. We are pleased
to report Praise the Lord //I: Amanda's legs are well healed, &
Praise the Lord #2: she is pregnant with our second child! The
(little one is due in June 1992. We trust that His gentle mercies
Iwill attend to the development of this one as he did with Nicholas,
Thank you Lord, that in spite of the difficulties encountered, Nick
is happy and healthy.
We also spent some time trying to acquire some needed supplies
and equipment for the clinic. Thanks to all of you who helped.
Thanks in particular to F.A.M.E. for the portable equipment graciously
/ provided. It will better equip us to do outreach clinics in remote
' areas faraway from the base clinic at Mashoko.
We are glad for the concern we share for the lost. Thank you for
your support through finances and priceless prayers which undergird
this ministry. Together we are reaching with Christ to the lost
and hurting in Zimbabwe; He heals body and soul through our combine^
efforts
