The Department of Science and Humanities, Sree Sakthi Engineering College is

multidisciplinary in its orientation. At present the Department has expertise in four disciplines
namely Physical science, Chemistry, athematics and English. !t is "elie#ed that Engineering
education can "e enhanced only $ith the thorough understanding of science. Hence a complete
Engineering education must include the "asics of Physics, Chemistry, athematics and English
$here the students can easily unite the scientific principles $ith Engineering.
The Department imparts the fundamental kno$ledge of the students in all facets of Science and
Humanities needed to ac%uire "etter expertise in all disciplines of Engineering and "ridges the
