FDRs Inaugural Address Baseline Assignment
SLO 5:
Franklin D. Roosevelt was a man known by his friend as FDR. He had many challenges
to face during his terms of serving as the President of the United States. He served as president
for the most then any other has, he served for 4 terms. When he was president he helped the
nation go through varies things like getting us financial aid to assist us financially, but the worst
problem we had faced with his assistance, which was also the worst us as a nation was The Great
Depression.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. He meant
that if you could conquer your fears nothing will be able to hold you back to conquer your goals
and prosper from the achievement. He helped the people face their fear of not being able to
bounce back from the Great Depression but he helped them by coming up with the New Deal. In
which helping those to believe that they could prosper and come out of the worst time they have
been ever through.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said Restoration calls, however, not for changes in ethics
alone. This Nation asks for action, and action now. He meant that if we dont take charge and act
then sitting on our hands we wouldnt resolve any issues. He help them take action by enforcing
the New Deal in which helping solving them issues and will help them prosper.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said This great nation will endure as it has endured, will
revive and will prosper. He means that we have faced problems that we though we wouldnt be
able to conquer but in the end we did and prospered. We had faced the American Revolution to
the Civil War that almost spited the nation but in the end we resided from the lowest point to
becoming the nation we are today. We alone became this great nation because of our enduring
countless problems and then reviving and prospering to a better nation as time passed.
Franklin D. Roosevelt once said Happiness lies not in the mere possession of money; it
lies in the joy of achievement. He meant by this is that even if you wealthy you dont really
never feel the joy of achieving. Even though we didnt have much money the achievement of
bouncing back on our feet was the best feeling us as a nation ever felt.
FDR was a great man who helped us throughout his terms as president. Think and
through various problems but one that we could never forget was the Great Depression. He help
with the help of the New Deal which help us get back ourselves on our feet.

Franklin D. Roosevelt once said So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing
we have to fear is fear itself--nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed
efforts to convert retreat into advance.
