ポキプシー

ぼくは一ねんかんニューヨークのポキプシーにすんでいました(lived in)。ポキプシーは、ニューヨークの北にあり
ます。きれいです。それからしずかです。ふゆ(winter)はさむいです。でもなつ(summer)はたいていあついです。
そして(and)いい天気です。
ポキプシーには、おおきいスケートリンクがあります。ぼくはスケートがすきです。だから、ともだちとまいしゅう
(every week)スケートをしました。でもおおきいみせ(shop)はありません。だから、ときどきニューヨークでかいも
のをしました。
ポキプシーはちょっとつまらないです。でも、ニューヨークのそばにあります。だからべんりです。よかったら(if

2) Where it is located (north/south/eat/west of ~)
3) the climate/weather
4) what is there (e.g., レストラン、山、川、みずうみ(lake)、モール、こうえん、etc.)
5) how it is (e.g., おおきい、きれい、しずかな、つまらない、etc.)
6) What you did there
7) Summary of your statement

 Use lots of recently-learned words, structures, and kanji. To make your essay sounds mature, try
to use conjunctions (e.g., そして(and)、だから(therefore)、でも(but)、それから(and then)).
 Write your essay by yourself. If you get help from someone, you will receive 0 point for this essay.
 Handwrite VERTICALLY with a PENCIL, and use ひらがな, カタカナ, and かんじ as appropriate.
Write neatly. Spell words correctly. Follow the directions on the separate sheet.
