Service Industry Coed Softball Rules

ROSTER:
There is no maximum number of players allowed on a teams roster provided all players have
signed the Game On Sports Roster/Waiver form. t is the responsibility of all team !aptains to
ensure players are in !omplian!e with this poli!y. Teams have up until the third wee" of the
season to ma"e !hanges to their roster. #fter the third wee"$ rosters will be fro%en. Roster
!hanges that re&uire additional t'shirts will be sub(e!t to availability. #ll roster !hanges must
be !ommuni!ated to and approved by Game On Sports. )or an individual to be eligible for a
teams play'off roster he/she must have signed the waiver for said team by wee" * and must
also have parti!ipated in at least * total games with said team.
WAIVERS:
n order to parti!ipate in the league$ ea!h player must sign the team waiver. +aptains need to
print$ have all players sign$ and turn in the first night of play. ,layers not present the first wee"
of play will still be re&uired to sign a waiver with our staff before parti!ipating. # Game On
Sports staff member will "eep your team waiver at the field$ or a new one !an be printed out.
,layers who sign up as individuals$ agree to the waiver ele!troni!ally when they register.
PLAYER RESTRICTIOS:
#. #ll Game On Sports parti!ipants must be -. years of age or older prior to their first
s!heduled game.
/. ,layers that have parti!ipated in 0ivision - +ollegiate or ,rofessional sports must be a
minimum of 1 years removed from parti!ipation to be eligible to play in a similar Game On
Sports sport.
+. ,layers may only be on one roster for any given sport on a given night$ regardless of if
multiple divisions are offered.
0. Game On Sports reserves the right to re&uest a photo 0 from any player at any time for
any reason.
2. Roster !he!"s will be performed by an Game On Sports Gameday +oordinator at the
re&uest of the !hallenging team. Only individual players may be !hallenged. 2ntire teams
may not be !hallenged. The !hallenging team must provide legitimate reasons for submitting
a roster !he!" re&uest. +hallenging teams must report their intention to initiate a roster
!he!" to a Game On Sports Offi!ial as soon as possible to ensure the preservation of playing
time. Teams lose the ability to !hallenge a players eligibility at halftime.
SPORTS!AS"IP:
We are all adults$ and Game On Sports expe!ts all parti!ipants to a!t li"e it. 3nsportsmanli"e
behavior may result in that player being e(e!ted from the game. #n e(e!tion may result in
further suspension from parti!ipation in !urrent and / or future Game On Sports 2vents. #n
e(e!ted player4s5 is re&uired to leave the premises immediately 6 refusal to leave the premises
may result in a team forfeit and / or in!reased length of suspension.
OVERLY CO!PETITIVE PLAYERS:
#ll Game On Sports events are intended to be re!reational. #ny player who is deemed to be
ex!essively !ompetitive and/or overly aggressive may be removed from !ompetition at the
dis!retion of a Game On Sports staff member.
#A!E $I%OR!S:
#ll players must wear the same !olor shirt with an individual number on the ba!". f you do
not have (erseys we will provide t'shirts in your preferred !olor with your preferred number
for an additional !ost. #ny player in a different !olor and not having a number atta!hed to
their (ersey will not be eligible to !ompete for that wee". This ruling !an be overturned if all
members of opposing team agree to allow said member to play.
#A!E E&$IP!ET:
2very team must bring their own /ats$ gloves$ lineup !ard and s!oring system. )ield$ bases
and umpires will be provided by Game on sports.
%OR%EITS:
a. )or game to begin as s!heduled ea!h team must have a total of at least . players from your
own team. #tleast - female must be present for game to begin.
b. 0uring the regular season pi!"'ups may be made from other teams within your league. #ll
players pi!"ed up for an individual wee" must have signed the waiver for the season prior to
parti!ipation. 7o pi!"'ups will be allowed during play'offs.
!. n the event that a team !annot get the re&uired number of parti!ipants the game will be
!ounted as a forfeit and will not be made up.
#A!E RESC"E'$LI# POLICY:
n the event of in!lement weather or any other event that !auses games to be postponed$
Game On Sports will ma"e every attempt to res!hedule all games. n the event of multiple
!an!ellations$ Game on sports reserves the option to shorten the regular season and/or the
play'off s!hedule. 8a"e'up games may be s!heduled on days other than the regularly
s!heduled days of the wee". 7either refunds nor pro'rated refunds will be given if the season
is shortened due to in!lement weather or due to a!tions ta"en by the venue.

a. )ielding rotation must !onsist of no more than < males and at least * females. 7o more
than < males may play the field at any given time. 8ore than * females may be part of the
fielding rotation at any time.
b. ,layers are re!ommended to have a baseball or softball glove on at all times in the field.
,layers may play without a glove at their own ris".
!. #ll safe/out will be made by the behind the plate umpire.

a. lineup may !onsist of up to -1 players with atleast * players being female. 7o more than =
males may be part of the line'up in any given game.
b. #ll females must be among the top = batters of any given line'up.
!. n the event that only 1 females are part of the line'up the >th batter will automati!ally be
given an out.
d. n the event that only - female will be part of the line up the *rd and .th batters in the line
up will automati!ally be !ounted as an out.
e. The pit!h !ount for ea!h at'bat will be started as -'- 4-ball$ - stri"e5
f. On the ?th ball first base will be given to said batter.
g. The third stri"e will result in an automati! stri"e out.
h. 1 foul balls will be permitted per at bat. n the event that there is a third foul ball the batter
will automati!ally be !ounted as an out.
i. examples @ -. stri"e 1 swing and miss$ batter will still have 1 potential foul balls before
!ounted as an out on third foul ball. 1. Stri"e 1 foul ball$ batter will still have - more potential
