Self - Evaluation

I tutored students at Daniel Wertz Elementary After-school daycare program and taught a lesson on
how een small random acts of !indness can ma!e someone"s day. After the lesson we made
#hristmas cards which I later deliered to a local nursing home.

I would definitely recommend this project to future 1eniors because not only did I help the !ids* but I
had a great time doing it.

+ittle !ids hae a uni5ue outloo! on life. 6hey don"t get scared li!e some adults. I also learned little
!ids are ery honest.

8atience. I had to be ery patient throughout this project sometimes little !ids can"t stay focused. 1o
I was patient and always tried to come up with fun study ideas.

Emotionally I had to be ery ery patient. Intellectually I had to come up with something different
and fun eeryday. 8hysically after tutoring they had play time and always as!ed me to come play.

I feel li!e I tryed to go aboe and beyond to be not just a tutor* but also a friend. I made an effort to
learn erry child"s name I tal!ed to.

<ne student in particular would get irritated ery easily* but I would sit calmly and reassure him he
could do the wor!.

I am only the one who wor!ed at Daniel Wertz Elementary and I not only tutored I also taught a
lesson.

I would hae bought more glitter for the project. I bought a bunch* but it was definitely a faorite out
of all the many craft supplies I bought
