computer how to do its work.
Hardware
• Consists of the equipment:
- keyboard
- mouse
- monitor
- system unit
- other devices

• Hardware is controlled by
software. Its processes the
data to create information.

• Consists of the row,


unprocessed facts, including
text, number, images and
sound.

• An MIS produced report that are
predetermined. Three common
categories of reports: periodic,
exception and demand.

System (DSS)
• Provides a flexible tool and

in a flexible, easy to use,
graphical format design for top
executives.
• ESS combined the internal data
from TPS and MIS with external
data.
